I just purchased a beautiful crystal decanter at Tiffany’s in Atlanta (Phipp’s). Tiffany’s is elegant for a reason. When walking into the store it is peaceful and beautiful. Kavita, the person who assisted me with the purchase, was extremely patient and knowledgeable. Her warm and friendly manner made it a joy to shop. Shopping at Tiffany’s is special, and I know the bride and groom will feel special when they open the big blue box, and when they look at the decanter from Tiffany’s they will know it was purchased with love.

If you’re in Port Jeff,  NY and need a relaxing spa experience, I highly recommend The Blue Sapphire Spa at Port Jeff, NY. The owners Grace Figueroa and Sandra Cummings provide a personal and friendly experience. Grace talked extensively with my daughter with sincere interest about her non-profit, Beeswell, and it meant a lot to me. The manicurist, Joanna, gave us both the best pedicures we have ever had.  The pedicure was done perfectly (and I’m picky about my toes), using the absolute most sterile procedures I have ever experienced. The massage therapist, Joyce, was so attentive. My daughter had a massage, and I teased her about having “massage face” when she came out of the room. She said it was just what she needed. She has a very demanding job and it helped her relax.

Shannon and I say thank you for a lovely spa experience. I look forward to visiting again. Judy

Hello New York City!

I have enjoyed being in New York this week, engaging in a women’s history seminar through the Gilder Lehrman foundation. I have learned a lot, and met some very special people. Hi Lisa, Lauren & Anna!

I am always amazed and thrilled to be on the streets of New York, and am so happy I know just enough to share with the first timers. The smells and sounds of the city are unique to each neighborhood you are visiting. What I really love about the city, is how safe I feel when I am out and about. Thank you NYC for a great week!
